Today's Inktober is based on a photo I took at the Charter Street Cemetery in Salem (at least I think it's Charter Street). I have been saving this for closer to Halloween, and I'm pleased to complete it.

For today's Inktober, I participated in SAW's Workshop on designing buildings with personality. In light of all the book censorship still going on, I decided to design a building that is a combination of the castle from Howl's Moving Castle and a bookmobile. I like to imagine it scampering around the countryside to bring books to people who need them.

For today's Inktober, I drew a picture of Raefa with the asexual pride flag; Raefa is an aromantic asexual. Happy Ace Week! I am annoyed by her left arm--somehow that got away from me, but I like the composition overall.

Latest Inktober! This is based on a tombstone I found in one of the local cemeteries; I was completely taken by the pumpkin. I had a lot of fun using ink and smudging to give it a weathered look. I'm not sure it's my best inking work, but it's not bad either.

I did a comic for a SAW Workshop with Rachel Lindsay about "side effects". I'm pretty happy with it.

For today's Inktober, I drew what I think can be best described as a dark angel. The prompt was "angel", and I have been wanting to draw IriSurt from my Irae Magicka story with wings. However, I decided the fire hair and wings might get too busy so I diverted to this look. I am experimenting with not outlining everything in black, and I actually liked how it turned out.

This Inktober drawing is for the prompt "dagger". This features Aetsomni from my Irae Magicka story. Aetsomni is the goddess of death for the pantheon; she is holding the new version of Rahk, the sword of destruction (now currently a dagger/knife of some kind).

Today's Inktober prompt was "castle", so I drew an image I took of Malbork Castle, which I visited as part of a castle tour in 2009. Malbork Castle, located in Poland, was a castle for the Teutonic Knights. It is a lovely brick castle, which I couldn't fully replicate from the image. I tried some cross hatching and using various ink pens, and did okay. I think some of my lines need work, but overall not bad!

Newest Inktober drawing features this acorn witch that popped into my head (I think I mostly wanted to draw a squirrel familiar). I've been experimenting with using colored pencil instead of ink pens, which means her eyes and mouth pop a bit weirdly. Still like the colors though.
