An Afternoon of Art
Feb. 20th, 2022 10:29 pmThis afternoon, I had an art afternoon with a friend; they have a bunch of photography books, so we drew from reference. I had a great time--I definitely need to try this more often!
Tea Treehouse- I'm particularly pleased with my draftsmanship on the left side and on the treehouse itself. I got a little overwhelmed on the other side, but I think the basic idea is there. Apparently, they serve tea in this tree house, and I want to go here for the experience. Sadly, it's not in the US.
Boxer--I drew this from a photography book of athletes. I'm really proud of my shading, and the fact that I was able to apply the techniques I learned in a life drawing workshop to get her pose down right.
