Plushie Hoard
Jul. 30th, 2025 09:18 pmThis month's drawing is an idea I've had kicking around for a bit: a dragon with a plushie hoard! I didn't have quite the energy to color an illustration, but I'm still reasonably happy with it.
Seed Dragon
Apr. 26th, 2025 01:14 pmThis month's art is a seed dragon! A seed dragon hoards seeds; it knows how to take excellent care of them and may hold them for years. However, they can usually be persuaded to give up seeds for planting so long as the individual asking brings them more seeds. Seed dragons are popular with gardeners and botanists.
Here's the annual drawing I do around the holidays. I know a fair number of people going through it right now--and there is a ton of difficult, awful things going on in the world--so I wanted to go for a cozy theme with lots of warm colors and put some good vibes into the world.

Winter Dragon
Feb. 13th, 2022 12:19 pmEnjoy this little drawing of a woman with her little companion dragon enjoying a winter's day (which I finished during a surprise snowy day). I'm really pleased with the woman and dragon's poses. I kind of messed up the background; I should not have used as much grey in the foreground, but I think I saved it. I hope you enjoy!
Floatie Dragon
Aug. 8th, 2021 09:21 pmThere is a drawing challenge called Smaugust, which, you guessed it, involves drawing dragons in August. I decided to draw a dragon chilling on a floatie in a pool. I'm pretty happy with the colors for the dragon, less so about other things.
Fun fact: the dragon's spines and coloring are based on sea dragons!
