I'm Drawin' Your Grave: A Marblehead Adventure

I went to Salem with my friend LB, and we made a pilgrimage to Marblehead's Old Burial Hill to see the gravestone of Susanna Jayne, which is insanely intricate and beautiful.

A little beat up--but still beautiful!

While we were there, I did some drawings of the landscape and some of the headstones (including Susanna Jayne).

It was great fun! It's always fun to draw something that's realistic for a change too. I don't practice drawing from life nearly often enough.
