New drawing! I've had this drawing of Tris and IriSurt for awhile now, and I think the execution was ok. I think I should have made IriSurt's hair fill up that side of the page.

A cute comic idea I loved and decided to try out. Panel two might be my favorite. My budget and bookshelf space do not keep up with my reading habits, so I am picky about what I choose to purchase. But when I know, I know. What books have you wanted to add to your hoard lately?

Tris and Maple-Possible Sequel Outfits

I decided to do some drawing, so I drew Tris and Maple from my 2021 Nanowrimo project, Irae Magicka. I wanted to draw outfits for Tris and Maple in the sequel-which I'm a long way off from writing, but hey, art is art.  Tris is no longer making an effort to hide her wrath mage marks while Maple has gone in for the post-high school outdoorsy grunge look (she does work with plants though so it makes sense).

Here's my newest drawing! I read the quote in Rabih Alameddine's The Angel of History and just wanted to draw something based on it. The book is beautifully written, but it packs a wallop (it's about a gay man who's checked himself into a psychiatric hospital; he's lived through all kinds of things, including the AIDS crisis and is not doing well). I have tried to hide the image behind a cut so anyone who dislikes snakes can avoid it showing up in their feed.

I finally finished this drawing of Ammo browsing a book. I regret putting so many books in that shelf behind him, but I'm pleased with how it came out.
